EnglishTema Wordpress in italiano a due colonne, layout fluido e widget ready, pagina opzioni, header customizzabile tonalità bianco giallo-arancio e nero, post images ready per versione Wordpress 2.9 e superiori, fornito 100% free sotto licenza GPL v3, senza alcuna garanzia.
Il tema, così come viene fornito, può essere utilizzato liberamente per qualunque scopo senza nulla a pretendere, sia per sviluppo che per uso commerciale, la sidebar ed il footer sono widget ready ed è impostato per l’utilizzo di gravatar personalizzato, il layout è predisposto per supportare i commenti nidificati, una pagina per le opzioni permette di settare le icone per i social network più diffusi o impostare la navigazione breadcrumbs, impostare il titolo e la descrizione del sito oppure in alternativa inserire un’immagine logo e settarne la dimensione e la posizione (solo a partire dalla versione 1.5), con la versione 1.6 di Palmixio sempre dalla pagina opzioni è possibile scegliere di abilitare la caratteristica post image thumbnail presente a partire solo dalla versione 2.9 di Wordpress, con vari settaggi a disposizione per questa davvero utile feature.
Test effettuati
Browser testati: Ie5.5, Ie6, Ie7, Ie8, Firefox 3.0, Safari 4, Opera 9.64.
Sistemi operativi testati: Windows Xp, Linux.
Versioni Wordpress testate: 2.7, 2.8, 2.9.
Risoluzioni testate: da 1024×768 a 1920×1200.
Naturalmente eventuali richieste di supporto professionale, non rientrano nella licenza GPL, ciò non impedisce a chi farà utilizzo del tema di apportare personalmente tutte le modifiche che crede senza dover nulla al creatore del tema Palmixio per Wordpress.
Aggiornamenti e cronistoria :
Release Palmixio 1.6.2, data 21/12/2009: In caso di attivazione e settaggio della feature post image thumbnail, risolto problema “Fatal error: Call to undefined function has_post_image()” dovuto alla rimozione di alcune funzioni da parte del team di sviluppo di Wordpress nel passaggio dalla versione 2.9 beta 2 alla versione 2.9 RC1 sino alla versione Carmen.
Release Palmixio 1.6.1, data 7/12/2009: rimossa l’opzione per settare titolo ed estratto random di un post nell’intestazione del tema, ristruttura della pagina opzioni, possibilità di impostare il box adv per banner 125×125 nella sidebar ed inserire il codice equivalente sempre nella pagina opzioni, nuova opzione navigazione breadcrumbs, rivista l’impostazione per settare il menu pagine nell’intestazione del tema, inserita nuova opzione supportata solo dalla versione Wordpress 2.9 e successive di image thumbnail nei post, con tutta una serie di settaggi a disposizione.
Release Palmixio 1.5, data 14/9/2009: creata sotto directory “logo” dove inserire immagine da utilizzare e settare nella pagina opzioni come logo nel header del tema, utilizzo della funzione wp_list_pages per la definizione del menu.
Release Palmixio 1.4, data 17/8/2009: inserita una pagina opzioni per il settaggio e la personalizzazione del header.
Release Palmixio 1.3, data 29/7/2009: definito al meglio il layout nei post multi pagina.
Release Palmixio 1.2, data 25/7/2009: risolti problemi di validazione xhtml e css, la voce “trackbrack / pingbacks” se non vi sono trackbacks non viene più visualizzata, aggiunto in Palmixio un icon pack costituito da 24 icone in formato png customizzate, riferite ai maggiori social network della rete, vedi “Download icone png web 2.0 per social network“.
Release Palmixio 1.1, data 20/7/2009: immediato rilascio nuova versione Palmixio 1.1, risolto un bug nel file single.php, descrizione problema riscontrato: nel caso di commenti disattivati era possibile una errata visualizzazione del post, si consiglia l’aggiornamento.
Release Palmixio 1.0, data 10/7/2009.

One thing – in future .zips for english version, you might want to include a screenshot.png (300×225 pixel) so that it will have an image appear in theme section in Wordpress admin dashboard.

is very simple you doing replace all content (code description ..etc..) in div logo, with a image your choice, and create your styling into style.css.

Molto semplice come descritto nel file readme.txt, non devi fare altro che aprire il file sidebar.php e togliere i commenti <!– Begin Banner 125×125 – if you want visualize this box remove comment e End Banner 125×125 –>.
Nota bene che nell’ultima versione tra i tag H2 i temini “Consigli sponsorizzati” sono stati sostituiti con “Sponsors”, puoi ovviamente modificare questa voce scrivendoci il testo che preferisci.

I am new to wordpress and have created a text widget from admin to add a subscription form ,the widget is appearing in the side bar with out problem but all other widget gone away and disappeared.

Is a little bug present as to widget text and widget search, the problem he have when you not insert a title in widget box. Near release Palmixo 1.6 solve the problem.
Now you can repair the bug following this step :
step 1 – open functions.php file and find this :

another issue that I like to do with this theme is the heigh of top orange header is a little long and would like to make it alittle shorter .I have gone through the option but it is also does not work for me.

Hey man, this is normal, if you enabled widget in sidebar or footer the other default box not show.

If you want make appear the widget setting in admin area, and the other box into sidebar theme :
open the file sidebar.php and find this :

I was able to add the ‘about’ tab at the top, but the id ““href=”http://hopecolouredlenses.com/”>Home “” is still visible…I’ve tried everything. Please advise on what exactly I need to do. I’m not very computer savvy which is frustrating. Thanks.
If you want find your pages ID, go to Pages->Edit and hover over the title of the page. The status bar of your browser will display a URL with a numeric ID at the end. This is the page ID. e.g http://localhost/test/wp-admin/page.php?action=edit&post=119, (this case 119 is ID), see http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/pages-widget/
Thanx for the reply. But I have nothing checked off on my “pages menu options”. In fact, only the ‘About’ tab and ‘recent post’ tab appear in my pages widget . SO I’m not sure wherehref=”http://hopecolouredlenses.com/”>Home is coming from. When I switch themes, this goes away and everything else is fine. I think it may have something to do with the coding of the Palmixio theme. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there anything I can do to take it off my site…I don’t even want a ‘Home’ tab. Please advice.

(1) Header area is to large.
(2) It will be great if there is an option to change the color in the admin area.

Fantastico template, propio quello che cercavo da giorni. Ho solo un piccolo problema con i banner della sidebar. Dovrei associare all’immagine 125 per 125 chiamata libri.gif il codice affiliati. Non so però dove inserirlo. Forse mi puoi aiutare con una piccola dritta….

I really love the footer widget style. About the post title, I think it is better if You make it little smaller.
I have problems with the top margins and not sure how to fix it.
It’s being caused by the Zingiri Web Shop plug-in.
1. The title disapears off the top of the page.
2. Each page/post is too high on the page and partially obscures the header graphic.
I know it’s another app that’s causing this, but perhaps you have seen this before and have a quick fix.

I think you should modify the css style into plugin, this is not a problem in Palmixio theme, when install plugin third party you doing arrange the styling, bye!.
